We are aware of the ongoing fire in downtown Ovid this evening, and will be doing all we can to support those affected. We are so thankful for our community of first responders, and have them in our thoughts tonight.

Congratulations to the South Seneca Choral Music Students who attended the STMEA All-County Chorus Festival on January 17th and 18th.
Middle School Students who attended are:

Students worked with guest conductors, Mr. Holden Maiorana (MS) and Ms. Rebecca Saltzman (HS), over a two day period, which culminated in a Concert at Lansing Middle School on January 18.
An extra shoutout to Kayleigh Banfield for being featured in a solo and Sylvia Brock and Hannah Drexler’s small group participation in the closing piece for the HS, “Dance in the Graveyards.”

In the past two weeks, students in local history had the opportunity to hear from Craig Williams and Carrie Smalser about the Willard Aslyum. Craig Williams is a retired NYS Museum employee with years of experience researching Willard and Carrie is a lifetime Ovid resident that grew up in and around Willard. Both brought a wealth of experience and knowledge that gave the students insider perspectives into the lives and stories that came from the Willard Campus.

Dr. Martin Luther King changed the world. So can you. #MLKDay

Congratulations to these sixth graders for being accepted into the STMEA(Seneca Tompkins Music Educators Association) Elementary All- County Band. It's an honor that is well deserved.

Last night, we celebrated our Senior Wrestlers for their hard work, dedication, and the countless hours they've poured into representing South Seneca with pride. These Falcons have left an incredible mark on our wrestling program and inspired their teammates with their perseverance and sportsmanship. Congratulations, seniors - we can’t wait to see all you achieve next!

It's good to be back after the break. Seeing kids bundled up for the cold weather and ready to wrap up the second marking period is a sure sign of how fast the year is going. If you need access to warm wear for your child, please reach out, there are some resources we can share.

🎶 We're back from break and hitting all the right notes! 🥁🎤 Our students are showing off their incredible musical talents and kicking off the new year in perfect harmony. 🎻✨ #MusicMatters #BackToSchool

Extended Day is back this Spring with additional clubs kicking off, including 5K Training and Fly Tying/Fly Fishing!
If you’re already registered for a club, you’re all set - you’ll stay enrolled and don’t need to reenroll for that club. However, take a look at the new offerings to sign up for even more fun and opportunities!

Extended Day programming will resume tomorrow. SSAFE programming will still be available.

Take note! #foreverfalcons

Happy Holidays and we hope everyone is having an incredible winter break! #foreverfalcons

Our Elementary "Winter Fest" was the perfect thing to send everyone off into Winter Break this Friday. With some scenic snow outside to boot! #foreverfalcons
