We love having Sweethearts and Heroes continuing the work of SEL practices, restorative circle work, and anti-bullying training with BRAVES. We are grateful for the partnership and continued growth of this program in MS. Our collaboration with the elementary and high school students to foster these shared values is an incredible opportunity for South Seneca students.

Seneca County Sheriff Timothy Thompson reports, on October 1st, 2024 at approximately 4:00pm, Investigators arrested Everett J. Babcock, age 62 of Ovid, NY, for the crime of Criminal Possession of a Weapon on School Grounds, a class E Felony.
The South Seneca Junior/Senior High School Resource Officer was alerted to the possibility of a weapon being on school grounds.
