NYSSMA's Zone 3 Sr. High Area All-State Festival was held at Ithaca College on February 2 and 3, 2024.

Four South Seneca High School students, previously selected, worked with guest conductors, Rob Dietz, founder of the A Cappella Academy in Los Angeles, and Amanda Sprague Hazlik, current High School Music Educator and President Elect of the American Choral Directors Association.

The two conductors conducted two pieces each with the Treble Chorus and Mixed Chorus.  Students' participation is based off of NYSSMA Solo Festival scores from the previous school year.

Congratulations to our participating students, Sylvia Brock (Grade 11, Soprano I / Treble Chorus), Ruth Dendis (Grade 11, Alto II / Mixed Chorus), Mia Rasmussen (Grade 12, Soprano I / Treble Chorus), and Abigail Sherry (Grade 12, Alto II / Treble Chorus).
